27th Birthday Wish-List.

So, D-4 *or D-3 ya?* until my 28th birthday, OOPS! I'm turning 27 this year, not 28, my bad! LMAO.
*Damn I'm old, I forgot my own birthday...*
Following this past 2 years, I always make myself a WISH LIST for my birthday. You know, a llist of gifts that I want for my birthday.  I know it's lame & so superficial + shallow, but it's really fun to have something that you want, posted on your blog & actually telling everybody that I'm drooling with these stuffs. And also begging for someone to kindly to give one-or-two-or-three-or-four-etcetera-peter-cetera as a birthday gift. LMAO. *bitch, please...*
Remember, what you WANT IS NOT always what you NEED. :)

Anyways, here you go, 5 materialistic-consumerism-yet-expensive-but-awfully-beautiful-handful-helpful-lust-reliever-things that I WANT for my birthday! *fanfare...*

1. Canon Ixus 100is [link].
Until this very day, I'm still saving up some to buy a digital camera. Damn, how can you be a true-uber-over-the-top camwhore [link] if you don't have a camera. You're not going to use a camera from your phone for the rest of your life right? LOL. Isn't it a beauty?

Ultra-slim IXUS design
12.1 MP
3.0x optical zoom with optical IS
Smart Auto mode with Scene Detection Technology
Motion Detection Technology
Face Detection Technology
2.5” PureColor LCD II
HD Movies (1280x720, 30fps) and HDMI connection

2. Topman's AAA Black Leather Bag [link] or Zara's Black Pocket Bag [link]
Bags. Bags. More bags. Exquisitely beautiful bags but pricey enough to make me having a heart-attack or facing a bankruptcy. 1 million for each bag? Pfftt... but still, I would really like to have one of these two. Never saw the Topman bag though, but the Zara bag, I already "touch" it & completely fall in love with it.

3. e-Book readers: Amazon.com's Kindle  [link] or Barnes & Noble's Nook [link].
I'm not going to say that I'm book-nerd. I only read books that are popular or if I got some time to kill. :) Anyways, since I got a lot of e-book collections & having a hard time to read it on the computer, these 2 kind of e-book reader are the best option. I mean, can you imagine that you have to read it on your iPod or Blackberry, the-way-too-small-screen will make your eyes bleed, hyperbolically speaking, and also, the scrolling from right to left, exhausting enough for you? :p Or reading it on iPad? The LCD screen prevents you to read in a bright sunlight. *and also, iPad is totally overrated, carrying around a bigger size of iPod Touch, pffftt...*.

I've already "poked" Kindle a few times, one of my colleague at the office have one. It's so good & loving it very much! Should I get one? Hmmm... tempting! :)

5. Perfumes. Dolce Gabbana The One Series [link] or Issey Miyake Parfums [link].
Never leave your house without any perfumes, seriously. Even though I took public transportation to go everywhere, I always bring some perfumes, so I can stay fresh & also smells good. :) These two brands are my favorites. Even though they;'re a bit expensive, but it's kinda worth it. :)

Oh, btw, these are the links to my 25th [link] & 26th [link] birthday wish list. Sadly, I never get one from those lists *hey, I forgot, I got some CDs & hats from some friends :p*, so, I try to buy it for myself. *and give it to myself as a present for my own birthday, so lame & pathetic*. LMAO!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Ciao!

Singapore Quick Getaway. 8-12 August 2010. Poladroid version.

So, last August, I got the opportunity to have a quick getaway to Singapore! Yay! With Air Asia, we can "hop" to Singapore from Jakarta only for Rp 525.000,-. How crazy is that? Going abroad with a tight budget & what you called in Indonesian, "modal-nekad-aja". LOL
OK, maybe for some people, going to Singapore is not a big deal, but for me & my sister, this is BIG. I wish I could take my mum & my little brother also. Next year Mum! I promise to take you.
Here's a quick Poladroid pictures from the trip around Singapore. I'll tell you all the stories at my next post. Enjoy! :)

I'm really hoping to be in Singapore again next year! *crossing fingers...* Maybe went with my friends & not my sister's friends. LOL.

PS. Singapore's MRT is amazing! I really enjoy every second that I ride it. :)

Never Return.

Have you ever think about doing all of these above?
Quit your daily-boring-exhausting job & buy yourself a ticket to nowhere, maybe to Spain or some Caribbean island.
Get lost in translation because you didn't know their languages at all but yet you try so hard to understand & make it work.
Get your skin burned so painfully because you wanted those exotic tan skins.
Eat & drink whatever, wherever, whenever you want without thinking that it will make me fat.
Fall in love with someone different. Someone that you never think that you're going to fall in love & have a relationship with. Fall in love with someone that will give you a great sex, a great companion & a great friend.
And the most of all, you don't have to go back.
Never return to your previous life.
Start fresh & new.

I wish I could do that. Just being a complete selfish person & life a live that you can only find the movies or books. (hints: Eat, Pray, Love).

PS. Got the little quote from a dear friend's tumblr, Melancholy Mundane [link]. Go check it out.
